The Bed and Breakfast rooms are in our new post-and-beam barn that features an interactive dairy processing area on the first floor and guest rooms in the 3,000 square foot hayloft with 18-foot ceilings. You are invited to come help us break in this new addition to our working farm. The structures on the farmstead date from 1857 to the farm's latest addition in 2012.
The barn was built with our guests in mind using old-world building techniques to add charm but with the modern conveniences of your own home added in. The rooms were designed to let you get a great night's sleep, regardless if you need that sleep because of fun or work activities. There is nothing more refreshing then waking up on a country morning, enjoying a hearty farm breakfast, then heading out to your favorite next bucket list activity.
The Belgian Horse Suite
The Belgian Horse room gives a nod to the horseman in all of us. The room is oversized at 24 foot by 17 foot with a 16-foot vaulted ceiling. It features a king-size bed, leather sofa sleeper, and all the horsey knickknacks to make the horse lover feel at home. This room also has a private dinning space.
The Jersey Cow Suite
The Jersey Cow room reflects our commitment to this wonderful breed of cows from the Island of Jersey off the English coast. The room runs the entire width of our new barn and has lots of natural light. The room has a king-size Sleep Harmony mattress and a queen-size sofa sleeper in case you need the extra sleeping room.
The Rhode Island Red Room
The Rhode Island Red room is your cozy oasis in the country with a comfortable queen-size Sleep Harmony mattress and overstuffed chairs. If you are up with the chickens, say hello to our rooster Big Red!
The Long Wool Sheep Room
This room is comfortable with overstuffed wing back chairs and a window seat to enjoy a good book. The room features a ceiling fan and queen-size bed with a Sleep Harmony mattress.
Each hayloft room features:
-Private European-inspired bath
-Individual heat and air controls
-Sleep Harmony mattress
-Window seat overlooking countryside
You can expect good country food on our farm. The breakfast menu changes each day but always includes some of our cheese produced from our registered jersey cows, homemade baked goods, and items from the local area. Since we are in the middle of wine country, you may also see something stronger than milk to drink.
This is true country living where we see deer, turkey, rabbits, and the occasional skunk. Yes, this is a working farm, so all the usual smells (and watch your step) are included free of charge during your stay. You will see us working with our cows, feeding our new babies, making cheese, fixing fences, and playing with our team of Belgian horses.
